    Line play

Heard some of the most encouraging bits of info I've run across all spring in Rhoads' comments regarding both lines. He basically said both units are/could be better than he's seen in his first two seasons. When he says that he "wouldn't go so far as to call the d-line a strength, but..." that is a hugely encouraging "but".

I hope they can stand their ground this year and have somebody to get constant pressure. Last year, the D-Line was painful to watch during the Iowa, KSU, and Oklahoma games.

    Re: Line play

Hes done a great job recruiting. ISU could be a pretty dang good team in a few more years when his players are upperclassmen and this team is completely composed of his players. Not only can he recruit them, but hes shown he can do a very good job of coaching and leading lesser talented athletes who don't completely fit his systems hes installing.

I'm not going to say hes the best coach in ISU history, but so far hes looking like he could end up there.
