Very true...Iowa State is going to send a lot of people to the NBA if we can keep the right people around. Awesome to hear Iowa State and Pros together again. GREAT for DG. best of luck come draft day!

Re: See who's featured on NBA.com

Obviously Garrett has NBA skills and on the right team he'll contribute... This article might also be an example of how Hoiberg helps move his players to the front of the line. If I were a NBA prospect, having a college coach like CH is like having a top notch NBA consultant. Fred will probably come in handy when DG picks a manager...

Re: See who's featured on NBA.com

Agree on having FH as your coach. Sounds like Fred may have helped DG with what to work on as far as drills to be ready for these games.
High school players should take note. If they have aspirations for the NBA (who wouldn't) then Coach Hoiberg is the one to play for.

I think he is going to have a long NBA career. 6'5, handles the ball extremely well, can run all day and night...he will only get stronger and his jump shot will only get better. He should be going into his red shirt senior year right now, damn shame he never redshirted.

DG getting to the NBA would be huge for Hoiberg. It would really show players and coaches and handlers that he knows how to help these kids.

Very happy that DG had a pretty good weekend at Portsmith and I hope he gets a shot in the NBA.

Holy crap. 6 ft 5.5 inches tall, mixes up his dribble, quick first step, great conditioning, can pass better if had better people to pass to. The future looks great.

It's clear that Garrett was under-utilized by McDoormat, but it is good to see that the damage was not permanent and he still has a shot at the NBA.

I was a McDoormat sympathizer, but Freddy has shown me the light. I shall repent and wash away my sins of the past.

Great news for DG. I think the "majority" who was always on him was (or is) just an annoyingly loud minority.
