With 2 scholarships open for 2011 what is the biggest need for next year.

I think we need a long athletic wing who is a lock down defender 6'7 who can really rebound. The 2011/2012 team is very deep already. I think we are good at PG with sledge, allen and Mcgee all able to play the point. We are loaded at PF Godfrey, Royce White, Booker with Railey at Center who I think will be much better as a soph. SF Ejim is very good but could use an athletic backup and defensive stopper. SG loaded here as well with Mcgee, Allen, Babb and Christopherson who can all really shoot the 3 ball. Unless we can get a 6'11 shot blocker this late I say go SF with good athleticism. Thoughts any one.?

It's hard to say what this team needs without haven't seen some of these guys play much, but I think we could probably use one more guard/wing that can really get to the rim and to the foul line against good defensive teams. Maybe Sledge or McGee is that guy, but I don't know.

It's tough in the Spring but I think we add at least one and maybe Clyburn another athletic wing. Unless we can get the LA Tech kid with one year who can really rebound.

Either a 6-6 shooting guard or a 6-7 rebounder or a 6-10 defensive center - just fill the slots and do not let a scholly go open.

guessing any good bigmen to be had will end up at KU. If we can get Olu and Clyburn I'd be estatic. Then Oroko, Niang or Dingle and a 3pt shooter would be a great fit for 2012

A 1 and a 4-I'm not convinced any of these guys are the answer at point guard. They are really talented, but I'm not sure about their ability to run a team yet.

We have enough depth and talent next year, such that we don't need to waste a scholarship on a project type player or a warm body, IMO. Try like hell to get one of these transfers and then hopefully get Oroko, Niang and/or Dingle for next year. Possibly Cook if he can get his situation straightened out as well.

I hope that we don't offer scholarships just to fill them. We had a problem in the past of getting players who weren't Big 12 caliber players and when they transferred out it hurt us more than if we would've never offered them.

I agree. I think we need true PG like DG that can make others better.

3/4 is probably next high on the list. Cant have enough athletic wing and post.

We need a 7' combo guard/forward who can penetrate like Tinsley, shoot like Freddie, and score like Grayer. Is that too much to ask?

We need a point guard who can handle the press, and just be a calming presence.
