    Sports Withdrawal

anyone else hate this time of year? Other than the NBA finals, and a few Tennis matches, I go throw sports withdrawal now until fall. Don't do MLB. Golf or NACAR much anymore. But I find right after March Madness is the worst when weather is still spotty to be outside yet. :-( Everyday I go to CF and ESPN, looking for exciting things to talk about, and nope.

    Re: Sports Withdrawal

It's a lot harder for me when Cyclone sports are going well. Then I get in a bit of a funk, sport-wise, at the end of basketball season. Lately, it hasn't been so bad because our seasons haven't been that enjoyable (but this year, the season was).

This. That alone will get me to June.

Plus I happen to like baseball, and by the time Lord Stanley's Cup has been won, you're nearly at MLB's All Star Break, which is when MLB starts becoming relevant. Plus there's a decent soccer game on every once in awhile.

It's not ISU sports, which I do miss this time of year, but I make do.

    Re: Sports Withdrawal

I never watch the NBA. And not a huge MLB fan either. So, I usually just watch some golf to get me through the summer. I also enjoy Track and Field, but that's not on TV as much. Thank God its warm out in the summer so I can get out and do things besides watch sports. If this dead period was in the winter, I'd kill myself.

Once Lord Stanleys cup ends you have a few weeks until the tour. Once that completes it is time for football talk to start.

    Re: Sports Withdrawal

I will be using Netflix until football starts up in the fall. I have no interest in sports after the college basketball season ends.
