    More car stuff

    What would you do?

    2011 G37 brand new
    $20K trade difference

    2009 G37-30K miles
    $14K trade difference

    2007 G35-40K miles
    $7K trade difference

No financing for any of the 3 so don't factor that portion

    All have similar option packages
I like the G37 styling better and the interior is a little more up to date
G37 has a little more power and a 6sp auto compared to a 5sp auto for the G35

If history is an indicator, I'll probably keep it about 3 years.

The G35 is certified so 72 month/100k mile warranty from the original purchase date.

I know the G35 probably makes the most financial sense.......

The G35 seems like a really good deal, but what fun is a car if you don't get what you want?

I definitely wouldn't get the brand new G37 though.

    Re: More car stuff

I guess another way to look at it is what will happen in 3 years when I go to trade it in. Based on numbers that I'm seeing in the used market for 3, 5, and 7 year G series Infiniti's:

Now lets take the trade out of the equation

    2007 $23K

    2009 $30K

    2011 $37K ($41K sticker)

in 3 years I'm guessing the 3 will have this trade in value

    2007 $16K-Cost to own $7K

    2009 $21K-Cost to own $9K

    2011 $28K-Cost to own $9K

Anyone see anything wrong with those numbers?

2009. Lower miles and you said you like the style better. It's not necessary to buy something brand new.

Infiniti right? I'm biased cause I love my G35, so I'd say the last one.

Option 1. Seems like a decent deal though I think you could buy that car for less than 37K. My 44K sticker ended up being 32K paid. Have you worked them much or are you just starting the process and that's what you've gotten for starting points?

I'm just starting out but I'd like to know where you got $12K off a G37. That would be at least $4-5K greater than any deal on a G37 that I've ever seen. Hell I would buy 2 at that price.

Why not 3, you know, in case one gets a scratch.
