Re: Mcgee 1st team JUCO all american

I would be shocked if he isn't the starting point guard. With that said, I think a true point guard would be a better fit for the personnel we already have than a pure shooter. Hopefully McGee provides equal portions of each.

I would say it is almost certain but I wouldn't count out Tavon Sledge.

I'd hope that just because he can shoot doesn't mean he can't do everything else a point guard can do.

I love the fact that your opponent can't just let you sit wide open on the arc... having a PG that can shoot the 3 just opens up the lane more for everyone else!

    Link, anyone?

He and Chris Allen may well prove to be a quite potent pair at the guards!

Any chance we go after Monterale Clark? He is a former Milwaukee star who knows Diante. Very talented but has had arrests.

Man he seems like a truly great talent. The type of player that can tie things together on the court. A point guard with that kind of shooting ability is something i'm incredibly excited to witness firsthand.

I really, really, really hope not. He does not deserve to play college basketball.

It's interesting that next year's likely starting PG's biggest strength was Diante's biggest weakness, outside shooting.

we were a finalist for a high level point guard a couple of years ago. He ended up at Kansas, never saw the court and transferred out.

The key to McGee's success is if he is the kind of guard that can shoot off the dribble. That is a whole another deal than being a spot up shooter.

    NOOOOOOO
Milwaukee native and MU recruit Monterale Clark was one of three men arrested and charged in an alleged sexual assault in Hillsboro, Texas on Monday night.
Clark, 20, has been charged with felony sexual assault and is being held in Hill County Jail on $50,000 bail, according to officer Jimmy Hammer of the Hill County Sheriff’s Department. Clark did not have an attorney as of Wednesday evening, Hammer said.
According to a report in the Waco Tribune, the alleged assault took place at a dorm-room party on the campus of Hill College in Hillsboro, Texas. The alleged victim, according to the report, was an 18-year-old woman.
The 6-foot-10, 222-pound Clark averaged 15.8 points, 10.2 rebounds and 2.1 blocked shots per game as a freshman last season at Hill, and was regarded by some as the top returning big man in the junior-college ranks this season.

the first thing McGee's Juco coach said you notice about him is how hard he plays all the time and he is a lock down defender.

Tyrone Appleton. Nice job choosing KU and never playing.

While on live TV, Ford used a vulgar term to describe a private part of the female anatomy, adding that he was “happily married” and “got more than enough to eat at home.”
