Calipari goes to his first Final Four

Wish he didn't have to go through Barnes to get there but best of luck to the Wildcats the rest of the way...

I say even better he went through Barnes. Both games went perfectly today IMO.

Are you trying to out smart people with the whole "the teams Cal coached at had to relinquish those wins" type of thing?

Because watching Kansas and Roy Williams lose big games is fun! Used to only take one game, but I'll take what I can get.

They weren't taken away from Cal, so this is still his third Final Four.

Since we are an elite team now, let's go get that One Cyclone Moment.
Make this one for the ages!

Calipari isn't any dirtier than any other top level coach out there. All coaches have runners who direct guys to their program, Calipari just had a better one than any other program.

Meh, he doesn't have a championship and he has gotten caught. Roy and Self neither one have gotten caught and both have championships. Theirs are better.

He took two mid majors to the final four. Self and Roy won titles at UNC and Kansas. Calipari also pushes his guys to the pros right away, even taking away their scholarships if he feels they are ready. Williams and Self have benefited from a lot more three and four year players.

Good points but winning is winning and getting caught is the same. Self beat Calipari with what I would call less gifted team. Sure if Cal talked his players into staying he would likely have a championship. I do think Cal get's better talent in places but I don't know that he puts complete teams together as well. Or hasn't up to this point. Of course if he wins this year that whole point is out the window. My point was just that if everyone has runners, his isn't the best because he got caught.

Really? How many other college coaches have had BOTH of their final fours vacated. Bobby Knight said it best when he said on ESPN that Calipari shouldn't be allowed to coach with as much as he has cheated
