Who's on your out of state wish list?

With Kingsley of Apple Valley committing to Minnesota this past week, who should we go after:

    1. Alex Cisneros (Selma) #3 125
    2. Russi Bruno (Brandon) #1 130
    3. Tyler Liberatore (Brandon) #2 135
    4. Jason Tsirtsis Crown Point #1 140 Heard Iowa is out, still a long shot
    5. Clark Glass (Brandon) #3 152

We have connections with 4 of the 5 and top ranked at their weight
The top 3 can be switched, with Cozart from Brandon and Pena fron Selma we should have good connections with these kids.

So, there is no back up for Weatherman at 157 yet?

I believe that Spangler went 165 because he couldn't beat Reader. He did quite well at 174 in the tourneys he went to.
So, if Sorensen goes 165 then Spangler can go 174. "Win Win" Unless, of course he just plan wants to go to 165.

Thought Schrock was out. Too many concussions. Anyone in the know about that? Any updates on Sorensen or Simonson? Hope they are well on their way back to 100%

It will be fun to get to see the Redshirts wrestle and figure out where they fit in. Seems like a good group of wrestlers.

I think that is why Moreno is trying to make the cut to 157. Spread some guys out.

I still don't know why we didn't go after this kid right down the street from me. Anyone know if we had any interest in a three-time state champion? Looks like we need help at the lower weights.

Maybe we did, recruiting in wrestling seems so secretitive. Other than the obvious (ISU legacy or brother on the team), we find out very little about scholarship wrestlers and what money is available. He does ask some to walk on. Does he have colleges offering him scholarships or has he selected a school? Seems like he's worth a look. #18 at 135 by Intermat

He signed with Brown late last year. He's a warrior and has that Brands' type wrestler attitude. He was just named 6A Kansas wrestler of the year. I have to think he would have helped.

He has been talked about before. Some people think the Brown education was probably hard to pass up.
