Good thing the Census has a question "Are you in a gang or not?"

You also have to keep in mind that when starting with a very small population number to begin with, a small increase in absolute numbers can cause a large percentage increase.

Because that increase is clearly not just a lot of people looking for jobs and a decent place to live. Nope, gang bangers, the lot of em.

    Re: Interactive Census Maps

I'm particularly amused by the fact that my hometown's census area has a -100% relative change on the Black population because the only one in town moved away in ~2003. (Not meaning this in a racist way, merely a statistically amusement- that one person moving literally changed the entire population demographic by 100%)

    Re: Interactive Census Maps

and that guy was there in 2000 AND filled out the census?

on a side note, when I was on choir tour to DC in 2000 I stopped at the archives and looked at the first census from 1790 and found one of my ancestors- they listed the chickens and other livestock in their roles. kind of fun to see the type of information they used to provide the government compared to what we provide now.

Yeah, she had a house somewhere on the north side. I assume she was a Rockwell employee before they left.

Well it's good to know that the Criminal Justice department is teaching you to always suspect our Latino friends.

Are there any openings in Brown = Gangbanger 312 next semester?

Just for fun zoom into the city level and check out Denison and Storm Lake. Meat packing plants can sure affect population dynamics as well.
