Re: Notebook: Spring Fever (presser recap)

I've been saying it all along. Our top two depth chart at QB will be Jantz and Capello... they are the main event in this QB battle.

Glad Lattimer is practicing, hopefully hes only suspended one game.

I also thing the coaching change was a pretty good move. Franklin was our best receiver last year, and our WR's were actually pretty good at blocking. But if there are still some problems this year.. a real change has to be made for next year.

I strongly disagree with this. Rhoads said nothing that would indicate that Tiller won't be an option. He's number one on the depth chart.

Obviously the only guy with experience is going to enter spring at the top of the depth chart. That in no way means hes leaving with it. The way he talks up Capello, I doubt he would have brought in Jantz if he also had faith in Tiller starting.

Re: Notebook: Spring Fever (presser recap)

From listening to the presser it sounds like coach likes Steele but it's still Tiller's job to lose IMO. Definitely sounds like 3 of them have a legit chance, with Barnett probably having to wait until 2012 for a realistic chance baring injury/transfers.

I enjoyed Steele's interview. He seems very humble and I like the fact he's a film junkie. He sounds promising.
