    CONGRATS JON!!!

Just wanted to say what a hell of a season. This guy deserved everything he got this year. He wrestled his arse off all season and it showed tonight. What a way to cap off your career!! Thanks for all your memories here at Iowa State!!

That was great watching Reader dominant his opponent on national TV.

    He thanked Cyclone Nation.

We are thankful that he wrestled for Cyclone Nation. Another NCAA champion.

So true. And if any of you have talked this kid, he is exactly what you picture your child, role model or a clone athlete to be. We talk to him every now and then after the meets and he always has time for fans and is always willing to sign autographs.

    Re: CONGRATS JON!!!

I could tell from the middle of the season on John was primed to win a national championship, after watching the Big 12 tournament it was especially obvious.Having the pleasure of watching John this season reminds me of of the purity of the sport and why it is my favorite. He had one of the most dominant seasons in recent memory , watching a man on mission to not only beat the competition but destroy it is one of the great feats in sports and most exciting to watch. The commitment that it takes to be dominant and become a champion in wrestling is unrivaled in any team sport, college football and basketball players get the publicity but I doubt they know the real meaning of dedication. Thanks for the great show John.
