The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come.

Anything by the band Explosions in the Sky is fantastic. They're the band that made all the instrumental songs in the friday night lights movie. there song
"your hand in mine" is easily THE best song to ease your mind with, if by that you mean chill out. And just to make this about bball, you can listen to it after a tough loss haha.

Love the Bob Schneider reference. His live stuff is great. Ive seen him live 7 or 8 times. I saw him at People's in Ames back in 2005 and have the live cd from it. (he records his live shows and sells the cds) Anyway, that live cd from People's is phenominal. He hit a grand-slam that night. I can barely even listen to his studio stuff anymore.

I love Explosions in the Sky. Another great band to check out is Mogwai. Great stuff to relax to.

Wow at the Pink Floyd in this category. Maybe it's just me, but I find everything off of Dark Side a little unsettling, probably because it's an album about going/being insane. But again, that might just be me.
