    Re: Pomlee

He's leaning towards ISU right now and I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him eventually decide to be a Clone. I don't foresee a decision any time soon but so far he's liking a lot of things Iowa State can offer, not just on the court. It'll be interesting to see how his game continues to develop and how he rebounds from injuries. He may see his stock blow up, or come crashing down, all depending on a few months of play.

    Re: Pomlee

Rightly or wrongly, I was thinking we had given up on him as he was looking elsewhere. Have things changed or am I just an idiot (bump..set...).

    Re: Pomlee

    match:)

I don't think ISU will ever "give up" on him because he's a talented player with a lot of moral character from in-state. He'd be a perfect fit on our team, even if he could use some additional muscle & size.

wow, nice to see a kid from Iowa with KY, IL, and Indy after him as well... hopefully he won't Gibbs ISU...

I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.

This guy must be quite the stud because the Squawks are after him. Of course, if he doesn't go there, we will find out that the guys is worthless and they didn't want him.

    Re: Pomlee

I was watching a ESPNU college recruiting show a few weeks ago and they lead the program with 4-5 "up and comers" that had a very good summer and Pomlee was one of them...I thought that was a very good sign or compliment.

I hear it's between Iowa and some other school. Mark it down. They're always in the final two.

I've always been a fan of getting Pomlee, I think we should nab any instater that has talent.

    Re: Pomlee

I've got talent, albeit an extremely small amount that doesn't include shooting or dribbling, but I play nasty body-check defense. :) Sign me up!

I hear there is a grade problem. Not quite sure about that though.

    Re: Pomlee

Tom Kakert at Hawkeyereport has said that there could be a grade issue. Jon Miller has said that Pomlee has some things to prove offensively. We don't have any bigs on board for 08. LA, come on down! Honestly I'd love to have him be a Cyclone. Keep the Iowa floodgates open.

    Re: Pomlee

Always the pessimist this summer of disappointments in Bball recruiting, I predict we will see Pomlee get an offer after Iverson and Davila turn elsewhere for their education.

I will take Pomlee if he can make it to school. He has serious talent.
