Texas & Missouri could make some noise!

I actually like their chances of going deep into the tournament. The Zags could make a run too? It should be another fun tournament.

this years tourney should offer a lot of surprises with the terrible seeding job done by the committee. should be interesting to watch though

In the 2002 Tournament, Missouri went in as a 12 seed. Best 12 seed in the history of the game. Now they may be the best 11 seed ever to win a draw.

Texas has Barnes. He will find a way to lose a close one.

Hope you don't bet the farm on this game. Cincy has gotten beaten by teams that thrive off tight D and turnovers. Mizzou plays this way.

mizzou proved it was terrible away from home this year. I can see the first round win, but anything past that is tough

In the parlance of our time - Let Me Big12 Koolaid Drink.

Mizzou hasn't shown me much this year, and say what you will about CU getting shafted, but it's a down year in the Big 12. I can't see the Tigers doing much. I wouldn't put much on anyone in the Big 12 outside of Kansas. With three first-round picks on the bench, KU is the only team i see capable of doing anything.

I like Mizzou but not Texas. Neutral Court situation is different than road games. Texas has stunk down the stretch and may not make it to the sweet 16. I like Kansas to battle for the championship, guess we'll see how weak the Big 12, Texas AM hasn't surprised me all year, and K-State is hit and miss.

    Texas and Mizzou huh....

Texas will lose their first round game and Mizzou has LOST eight of their last thirteen games according to the papers......

I don't think either team will go past the second round....

Be careful of Oakland. They were underseeded and are very good. Keith Benson is a beast, and their PG is pretty good too. Also, Rick "the choke Artist" Barnes does not fill anyone with a lot of confidence. I could see Missouri get on a run if they can win on the road.

Re: Texas & Missouri could make some noise!

I think every year there is a lot of consternation about odd match ups and tough picks and every year things shake out and we forget how tough it was to pick with 64/8 teams. I have a pracket that is quite a mess at the moment though, to be sure. There may be more 2-3 seeds that I don't buy into than usual and as such some odd seeds are making it farther. I doubt that I know any more than usual though so if there are upsets I'm sure they will be ones I didnt predict! My tentative elite eight has the following - 3 -1 seeds, 1 -2 seed, 1 - 3 seed and a 5 a 6 and a 7. But, like I said at the begininng, probably not that different from any year!

Oh, and I have Texas losing to Duke and a nice path set up for Mo, if only they didnt lose to Cincinnati!

    I love this week!

Nothing to see here mods. Keep moving.

Texas and Missouri could make some noise...but so could 80% of this field if they play like they can. I'm not sold on Missouri. Only one road win against us. And I actually think Cincy is way underrated. Easy pick for me with the Bearcats.

My upset watch is in the second round with Washington over North Carolina. Yes, the game is in UNC's backyard, but I just have a weird feeling about that game.

I actually have that pick in a bracket as well... UNC loves to play from behind, but when you get into the NCAA's you just can't afford to do this and I believe that UNC could take a tumble pretty quick if they aren't careful and come out strong.
