Would you take this 2008 MBB recruit

Versatile forward that can play either facing the basket or with his back to it. He is athletic, runs the floor well, is explosive around the basket and is able to finish above the rim. He just need's to add strength and he will be the total package. His name has not taken off yet due to the high school he plays at. He is switching AAU teams and will be a PF for the 2008 recruiting class. He is 6"8, 225 pounds.

    Would you take this recruit?

I just want to know if by description he would be someone you would be excited about. I will post his name in a little bit.

If he helps us win, I'll take him.

Prediction: The moment someone says they don't want this guy, Copenhagen will emerge and say many, many annoying things.

Based on a paragraph? This sounds like a post on eHarmony.com

It sounds just like Craig Brackins to me. Almost the same size and kind of game by the description you gave.

Knownothing - add this to your description.

Excellent long term prospect. Long and blocks a lot of shots. Strength is an issue and it would allow him to finish inside. Has a skill package and a high ceiling for growth.

I'd like to know a bit more about his background and academic history. I like his playing style, but I wish you had mentioned his passing ability and work ethic.

Re: Would you take this 2008 MBB recruit

His name is Andrew Davis. He is someone we are interested in. No offer yet but if we whiff on Iverson and Davila, look for us to start with some of these secondary recruits.

I just wanted to show everyone that just because we don't know the guy like Iverson or Davila and Just because he is not rated. Does not mean he won't be a good prospect. Knownothing.

There are also academic issues with Pomlee as well.

    His name is Andrew Davis.

I see that he has his own website and Web hosting, domain name registration and web services by 1&1 Internet.

Sorry, the link didn't come through. He has his own website. Just Google his name with basketball or .com and his website will come up.
