    1991 Bulls honored tonight

Watching the Bulls game tonight and at halftime they honored the 20th anniversary of the 1991 Bulls who brought the first of 6 titles to Chicago. Very moving and most of the players were back including MJ. Seeing the video and players back was great. I remember that first one. I was 11 and knew I was watching something special. Here's hoping Chicago can celebrate the 91 teams 20th anniversary with title #7.

I saw it as well. The place went crazy for Pippen and Jordan. Still a lot of love for those two and all of the former players.

Having all of those guys back reminded me of how good that team was. They were deep on the bench and had the best coach of all time.

In related news, the bulls are killing the jazz.

Completely unrelated I'm watching the sixers game, and Craig Brackins is actually playing (in a blowout).

Obviously MJ is the best but for me seeing Scottie announced was what got me emotional. Scottie gets a lot of grief from people outside the Bulls family but the guy could flat out do it all score, rebound, assist and defend and was a headache for opposing coaches to game plan for.

With a win tonight the Bulls pull into a tie for the East lead.

Scottie gets no grief. He's probably one of the most liked Bulls.

Yeh, I don't know any bulls fans that dislike Scottie.

Only time people gave him grief was that playoff game against the Knicks when he refused to take the court. Then Toni Kukoc drilled the game winner.

I meant from people outside Chicago. Some people weren't thrilled to see Scottie named to best 50 players in the NBA a few years back.

One of the greatest teams of all time.

That was about the only time I followed the NBA with much interest.

Wow, I am really excited to hear that. Seems like they never play him, even in blowouts.
