    Sad

I'm in KC, and this is truely sad. Kelley's is dead. Power.and Llght was a joke last night (hopefully better tonight, but I doubt it). Very depressing. What the hell is going on?

Friday should be a lot better since it's the weekend.

If you ask the basketball analysts outside the state of Iowa I think you would be surprised to hear their responses. Iowa was pegged as a preseason top 5 team by one ESPN analyst and is ranked in the vast, vast majority of preseason top 25 polls

Uh 2 of the big 3 in the KC area lost already. Not to mention, ISU was the worst team in the conference this year. It's not a shocker that not many ISU fans were in KC this year.

If you are bored go over to Buzzard Beach and play some shuffleboard and foosball.

Tuesday night at P&L was lame. I had a great time on Wednesday though. A bunch of Cyclone fans were out.

    Re: Sad

Moving the tournament to starting on wednesday has to be killer for attendance. A lot easier work-wise to take a thurs-sun trip than a Wed-Sat, especially when you could be knocked out the first day. (hard to take 3 or 4 days off work for the potential of having your team knocked out early and a relatively poor trip after that). Im sure more that lose on weds head home instead of sticking around for the weekend like they would after a thursday loss.
