    Gallagher Collapses On Stage

Comedian Gallagher collapses while performing at Rochester bar - PostBulletin.com: Rochester, MN

His watermelon-smashing days might FINALLY be over. Has there ever been a one-trick pony that had a longer career??

We sat next to him in an airport terminal about two years ago, and he didn't look that great then. Other than the jean jacket with his name Bedazzled on the back, I mean.

LOL - thank you. What's even awesome-r is that it's entirely true. He was also kind of being a butthole to the person with him. I hope he's okay, obviously, but this was my brush with "fame."

Stuck in the 60's was probably the first stand up comedy show I ever saw so I have a soft place in my heart for Gallagher.

Did you know who he was immediately? His 15-minutes started in the mid-70s

He preformed in Dubuque a few times when I was working there at Hy-Vee, and he would always come in and do some shopping. Not going to lie, but he was always a giant *******.

No, but I do worry for the guy who sat next to him on the plane. I'm going to bet he's a messy eater.

Yeah, mostly because of the hair/mustache. And the previously mentioned jean jacket clinched it when he was walking around. It immediately got Facebook-statused.

Yeah, he was really unleashing on the guy who I assume was either his assistant or a handler? I'm unfortunately not surprised he wasn't polite.

I should qualify - I've never seen his act, so he may be hilarious.

Where were we when that happened? I think it was Memphis. We assumed it was his assistant that he was yelling at. I would hate to think that he would treat a family member that way. And, don't forget Gallagher's most damning personality flaw, Ang. He's a Mac user.

I'm almost positive it was Memphis, because we were flying Delta on the way to Tampa Bay. The person he was yelling at didn't have an airline uniform, so that's why we assumed it was someone employed by him yet unconnected with them...

He WAS a Mac user. I forgot about that! I think it was an old model, too. Shame.
