    Buying contacts online

    Looking into ordering my next (and all future) box of contacts online.

    What service do you use? Some better than others?

    I have the Focus monthly lenses if that makes any difference.

    I have used 1800 contacts.com for about 4 years now and have never had a problem with them. I believe if your order is above $50 (which isn't hard to do) then the shipping is free.

    1800 contacts is great. Free shipping and you can get some pretty good discounts. Only problem is they will spam you about reordering every month even if you buy enough for a year. Nothing big but annoying

    I've use a couple online services as well and they've worked great for my needs. Make sure you search for coupons because you can usually get 10-20% off or more coupons for 1800contacts.com.

    maybe 5th-6th grade-ish? They help out a lot in sports and I wish I would've been able to get mine prior to 8th grade.

    that said, watch closely early on - don't let them do dumb things like leave them in for extended periods and risk eye damage (its a wonder I don't have more than I do - 2 months straight day and night sometimes)

    Not 9 years old...

    My parents wouldn't let me until I was a sophomore in HS, and even then I had to pay for them. Looking back, it was the right decision...

    Have never had any problems. Fast (get them in a 2-3 days), and they are as price competitive as any other site I have seen.

    Just looked there...$10 cheaper a box for mine to use shipmycontacts.com over 1800contacts.com.

    Thanks for the advice. That is kind of what I was thinking. He is very mature about his vision and glasses, as he has had them since he was 2.
