    Thank You DG

I just want to thank DG for all his hardwork he's put in and how well he represented ISU during his time here. He improved every single season he was here, and I wish him nothing but the best for him in the future.

He will be the only 4 year scholarship player from the Greg McDermott era, a testament to DG's perseverance and commitment to ISU. He is a loyal son forever true and will go down as one of my favorite Cyclones of all-time.

    Thank you DG.

DG, Thank you for committing to Coach Mc Dermott and Iowa State. You're one of the best point guards in Iowa State history and a quality representative of our program and university. You gave Coach Hoiberg the opportunity to showcase his head coaching abilities in his first season. Check back in, so we can share in your future success. Thanks...

    Amen....LOVE DG!

PS...anyone that comes in this thread with a derogatory thing to say should be immediately banned. DG did ALOT of good and represented ISU in the best way possible on and off the court.

DG will be paid for his efforts here (NBA). He will also be a player that nobody forgets.

    Re: Thank You DG

I was a pretty heavy DG critic but I do feel for him. He had a great year, its just too bad that this year seemed like the first year he was in a system that he was meant to play in. In a lot of ways we finally got to see the real DG this season, its just a shame he was handcuffed his first three seasons. Sure he had some struggles this year but it's really scary to think of where this team had been without him.

Exactly my thoughts. He has really progressed over the years, and especially once he was in a system that actually utilized his talents.

If he had a second year in this kind of system, I think we'd be blown away at the player he actually can be.

Since we are an elite team now, let's go get that One Cyclone Moment.
Make this one for the ages!
