Elway coaching his QB son in HS

Wasn't there a thread awhile back about Elway's son being interested in ISU, or ISU looking at him? Or maybe it was all speculation, as ISU was not mentioned in this article...

We probably sent him a letter seeing if he was interested in us. He probably mentioned he had interest from a bunch of schools at one point and said our name. Other than that I don't think we are after him any more due to the fact we have two commits from QB's. I would like to see John Elway wearing a Cyclone shirt though. That would be pretty cool .

I agree. I wouldn't mind walking around tailgating and seeing John sporting some Super Bowl rings and an ISU shirt.

New Assistant QB Coach and prospect

If John Elway offered to work as an assistant at your high school - would you take him? I have no idea how good the kid is - the article didn't mention any visits to Colorado.

Weve got a pretty good football conference, and weve got a pretty good conference overall. Were still walking around with our heads held high and our chest out, about that. Paul Rhoads
