    Justus Thigpen was one of my favorite Cyclones as a kid. He and Ron Bayless we're 2 of the best guard combinations in the nation, their senior year.

    Yes they were. If I recall correctly, they had an incredible game against Kentucky, even though they came up just short.

    Justice was a stud, he and Bayless are 2 of the more under rated Cyclones. Mostly because of the sucess of the teams that followed them.

    That was the 1992 NCAA tourney 2nd rd game. Lost 106-98. That's the year Kentucky lost on the Hill to Laettner last 2nd shot. ISU barely made it in and was a 10 seed. I remember many folks unhappy that ISU made it in with a 5-9 Big 8 record.
