    The Lincoln Lawyer

I just read the book. Was an awesome book. Now the movie comes out here in a little while and it looks great as well.

Was wondering if any of you guys have read the book and what you thought of it? Or if you guys are anticipating the movie release?

Here is a trailer if you are interested.

Really looking forward to the movie, as alot in the previews closely follows what is in the book which is rare to find with novels turned into films.

    Re: The Lincoln Lawyer

I have not read the book, but I am a huge fan of courtroom dramas. I just watched this trailer last week and I cannot wait until it comes out. I usually hate Matthew Mcconaughey, but I really enjoyed him in "A Time to Kill" and "Amistad". I'm also in Law & Order withdrawl, so a good Grisham-esque courtroom drama is just what I need right now.

I'm hoping I don't get confused, as Josh Lucas is in the movie too, and I always get those two actors mixed up - if it weren't for this movie I would swear they are the same person.

    Re: The Lincoln Lawyer

I just saw this movie. It was much better than I expected. I read the book, but I don't remember exactly how it ended, but I think the movie ends differently than the book did. Michael Connelly is one of my favorite authors, but I think they need to do some Harry Bosch movies. Bosch is a more frequent Connelly hero (and a more interesting character) than Micky Haller is.

    Re: The Lincoln Lawyer

I like well done court room drama and liked the Lincoln Lawyer too. But "The Conspirator" was a fascinating movie that covered a court case in our civil war history I knew little about, and it was intense and powerful.
