    New Energy Man

With graduation of "Uncle" Jake, is there any doubt in anyone's mind that Godfrey become our new energy guy? You know the guy who brings it every night, big game or small, that can change momentum in a heartbeat.

Has to be "the Godfather" (throwing in plug for my nickname choice)!

Hard to know at this point. It's hard to overstate Jake's value to this team. He's an emotional leader on the floor. He wants the ball in his hands when it counts and, even if his decision-making isn't always the best, you need a guy who has that attitude. And you saw who Hoiberg wanted inbounding with the game on the line last night.

Godfrey has been that spark all season, and has shown he's bringing it every game all game now. Gonna miss Jake, the guy loves the limelight and always helps get the crowd going.

I honestly don't remember a more emotional player on the court than Jake brought this year. The guy wants it and is not afraid to show it.

    Re: New Energy Man

Jake was and is our energy guy. Don't get me wrong, Godfrey does a lot of great things but he doesn't bring that expressed emotion that really get's everyone going. He is expressive yet controlled and it has been great to watch.

    Or so I have read.
