    2011 Combine TE position...

How is it Franklin didnt get invited to this mess....

I mean seriously, considering of the 14 guys that ran on saturday, 8 of them timed in at 4.7 or high and 4 of which timed in at 4.9 or higher including Iowa's Reisner who many say hurt his stock with his performance.

Collin Franklin has all the tools, especially for what NFL tight ends should look like ala Dallas Clark.

Stable blocker in a running scheme.
    Size
    Speed
    Hands
    Route Running

I mean watching the combine almost every guy that came out i looked at and thought Franklin was better or equal to 95% of them....

Anyone know why he didnt get a shot at the combine? Even combine analysts were saying how this was a depleted position in this years draft....then for nothing else but to keep numbers up invite someone who was worthy....

Gonna be sweet seeing Franklin get drafted even though he wasnt invited to the combine...Good Luck Collin, you've been a great Cyclone, wish we had your twin coming in for 4 years!!!!

Franklin should end upon a team. He is an excellent player.

does anyone know if he wanted to go pro? not everyone that plays college football wants to go pro..thats probably part of why ISU sends fewer players to the draft than Iowa does

Please tell me you are joking with this statement.

While on live TV, Ford used a vulgar term to describe a private part of the female anatomy, adding that he was “happily married” and “got more than enough to eat at home.”

I'm hoping that Franklin ends up being a surprise, and that the Packers get him... (Not that they need him).

I hate the packers, BUT, would be nice to see him on a team in the midwest to keep an eye on him.

I doubt Collin would have exactly set the world on fire with his numbers either because it seems like some of his best attributes are things you don't test. He may have benefitted by not being invited.

WTF, that is the worst statement I have ever read on this site. Colin Franklin will be the best or one of the best TEs in this draft.

I don't know, I think he could have ran faster than a 4.9

I agree. Franklin is a football player not an athlete.

It would have been good for him to be measured though. He's got nice size, but they can do that at the pro day.

The Packers are so stacked they may not draft anyone this year.

Ya, but "what ya bench?" could be important too. Heard the Iowa TE only got 14 reps in? How strong is Franklin?
