    Driving out of Hilton lots

What is your policy for letting cars in from side lots while you are in the main line to leave?

let one in and go. but if i noticed that car drove straight up through the lots and is trying to jump in at the front of the line, that guy can wait forever as far as i am concerned.

I allow every other car to go........EXCEPT when they have Hockeye plates. Then they wait. And yes, this has happened.

Re: Driving out of Hilton lots

Whenever I leave Hilton and I'm trying to pull into the main line I would say at least 20-30 cars pass me without letting me in on average. Once I had to sit and wait for 20 minutes

Every time someone lets me I feel an intense sense of gratitude. Always give the mutual "we are both not ********" driving salute.

This. And it applies to when there is construction and the guy passes half a mile worth of line and a mile of signs saying "State law says you must merge now".

Honestly, I think our football and basketball teams would get better attendance with improved and greatly expanded parking facilities. That's the one thing I always dread when I go to games, and is probably part of the reason that people leave early all the time.

I vote for D) I wish more people would watch the end of the game from the concourse, so the lots would be almost empty by the time I got to my car.

As my GF said today when leaving the game. "your a lot nicer when we win". and i would have to say thats true. I always listen to the post game show no matter if we lose or win. But when we win i really want to listen to it it, but when we lose it feels like salt in the wound.

I honestly don't think you will find a place with a better parking setup than we do. We have huge lots next to both stadiums right next to highway exit.

I'm sure someone will argue about this, but one of my pet peeves is people pulling through the diagonal spot so they are facing the wrong way when it is time to pull out. Just makes things messier.

oh yes I'm glad someone gets ****** about this other then me. Nothing pisses me off more then meeting some one on a one way street/parking lot going the wrong way.

Exactly! Our parking situation at Hilton/Jack T provides ZERO valid excuses for anything that we're not happy about regarding how our fans behave (i.e...leaving early). I challenge someone to provide many examples of better parking situations at other BCS schools than what we have.

On the poll -- like so many faulty polls, you're pigeon-holed into the choices even if none is the correct answer (for you). To pollsters, always provide an "other".

To that end, once you've gained entry into the "main lane", you've entered into the promised land. You're close to heading out. Yes, you let people in, but it is mostly on "feel". Rarely, does the "every other" rule apply here.
