Great article on CN. Seneca getting mad

props from Holmgren even though he blasted pretty much the rest of the team. By the way. 33 year white guys should not use the term mad props but it seemed to work here.

Sounds like his senior year. Seneca has been cursed with bad lines for too long.

I don't know how many of you saw the game, but Seneca had zero protection. When Seattle holds out it's starting QB due to line issues, then you know they are in trouble. Seneca did have a very nice 11 or 12 yard scramble though.

Atlanta should trade whoever they can to bring Seneca in to start for them. They need a QB like him to take over the reigns.

What's Seneca's contract situation. This is his 5th year in the NFL, right?

He has to be considered one of the better backup QB's in the league. Everyone is constantly raving about him in the pre-season. One would think he'd be better off somewhere with where he has more of a chance to move into the starter role.

He signed an extension last season. Not sure of the length.

Re: Great article on CN. Seneca getting mad

I just perused the CF archives, back in January there was a thread that stated he had signed an one year extension to cover the 2007 season.

As for this NEW extension, 5.4million over three years, not bad.

Yeah, I was surprised to see this today because I remember him getting that 1 year extension and thinking he got screwed.

My thoughts exactly. The offense is already taylor made for a guy like him. I sincerely believe Seneca is a better passer than Vick ever was.

Nice bug. I tried to flick it off the screen twice before I realized it was walking around on the other side of the screen.

I am a Bears fan. I wish they would trade Grossman for Seneca.
