    Brandt cut

Maybe this is why our O-Line was horrible last year. "He just wasn't into football". First time the Bears cut a draft pick during training camp. Ouch.

Kinda hard to be into anything if you're constantly battling injuries - especially knee and or back. Those affect you constantly and are hard to get rid of.

    Re: Brandt cut

It's Brant not Brandt. Just as annoying as the people that keep spelling Jiri as Juri. Not sure why even the average fan has a hard time with player names...

Well, considering he was one pick from Mr. Irrelevant status anyway...

Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice?
Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.

For the record, I know from experience that Brant was not very smart. It appears that he didn't want to put the effort in.

    Re: Brandt cut

Our offensive line last year were basically "softies" that did not have a mean streak. You can't teach that, you either have it or you don't and in the NFL I would think you'd need somewhat of a mean streak to survive the trenches and from everything I've heard about Brant he's "too nice of a guy."
