    Ankeny area concrete contractors

Anyone have any suggestions for some residential work? I need to replace part of my driveway near the garage. I'm not looking for the creme de la creme. Just someone who will get the job done for a good price. I have no idea where to start with the dozens of contractors listed in the yellow pages.

I used two concrete crews all of last concrete season pouring 80% of our sidewalks at the New Ankeny High School. Let me know if you are interested in the names/numbers of the two crews that I used. They both were very good sub-contractors and their end product looks great. Both crews have a skid loader and would do demo of existing drive. One of them is a huge ISU donor and is a little more pricey than the other. Let me know via PM and I will give you their contact information and pros/cons of both.

Judging by the types of jobs they do, I'm guessing I wouldn't get a great price for a small residential job. Small jobs often seem to be nothing more than an annoyance for these sorts of contractors.

dont forget you pay for what you get just make sure you are comfortable with them and ask them questions they should know what they're talking about. You dont want to have someone come tear it out later.

When a bidder tells you that you get what you pay for and that they only do quality, usually their bids are higher.
