    2010 prospect Evan Anderson

I was wondering if anybody had any info on this kid. He is 6-11 235 and will be a sophmore this year wearing a size 19 shoe and 7'2 wingspan.A five star player according to rivals. According to scout we have offered him a scholarship and looks to be a very solid player. from reading articles he has already visited wisconsin multiple times and marquette. not sure what our chances are but we have been in on him for a while. having him would be a great addition with dysktra, maybe harrison barnes and darius stevens here is his profile. kinda interesting that his parents are only 5'9.

    here is the rivals profile

Here is some articles I found. Havent found any with how much interest he has in any school. One article is from his 8th grade year but is now a sophomore

    Re: 2010 prospect Evan Anderson

How is he a one star on Scout, and a five star on Rivals?

The better we stand with this kid, the better our 2010 class will be. I hope McD and crew are recruiting him hard.

Not only is he a five star. But in the newly made 2010 rankings he is in as the fifth best player in the 2010 class!

    Re: 2010 prospect Evan Anderson

I would have to bet on Wisconsin as well, but I would love to steal one from them as we are like 1-4 in recruiting bigs against them. We got Ross Marsden, and they got Nankival, Leuer, Markloff, and Bergren. I guess that were even! Just kidding, but yes, I bet he goes to Wisconsin but I would love to see him with Dykstra and maybe Barnes.

    Re: 2010 prospect Evan Anderson

I had heard there was also a big kid from the Council Bluffs area that was around 6'11' and is a 9th or 10th grader. I think McD is looking at him but I can't remember his name.

I don't think Wisconsin was going after Garrett very hard because of his grades...So i really wouldnt count Garrett.

    Re: 2010 prospect Evan Anderson

Evan Anderson is very well-known in Wisconsin basketball circles. The Cyclone staff has known about him for at least two years. He is the top-ranked player in the state of Wisconsin for the 2010 class. I don't want to rain on the parade but chances that Anderson ending up at ISU are less than slim.

Our shot at Evan Anderson is not that great. Seeing as how Bo Ryan is a master recruiter.

you never know, maybe we have a really good season in the next two years and he decides learning under mcdermott would be his best option

    New potential EIU Recruit

2015 Prospect, Jumbo Weller, a 5-2 sharpshooter is from Elkhorn Elementary and is now 9 years old. He averages 35% shooting for an 11.0 average and 4.0 rebounds per intramural pickup game. "He will be a monster when he matures," says his Dad coach Jimbo. Linkliter has been impressed with his youtube video and is reportedly close to offering. Jimbo says he is going to choose betweem Iowa or Illinois soon.
