    I almost wept as I read that...love those two guys! Miss both of them...but life must go on...can't believe it has been as long as it has since those guys coached at ISU.

    I remember a commerical for some bank in Ames I think where Floyd jokingly tells Eustachy about burying some money in the back yard before moving out. When he comes back out of the house, there's Larry, holding a shovel waist-deep in a giant hole in the yard. Good times.

    Yes, that was a great commercial. In case some don't know, it was because Eustachy bought Floyd's home in Ames. That in itself is pretty funny actually.

    At least he won 2 conference titles with those records...our last few coaches have had those types of conference records without any of the successes of LE.

    No offense, but its people like you that give this program unrealistic expectations. A coach brings us 2 conference titles, a tournament title, nearly a final four and national championship...and you bring up that the next 2 years were subpar! Unbelievable. What do you expect? ISU to contend for conference and national titles every single year?!
