    Fred Hoiberg on JVB's ankle

Just getting to transcribing today's press conference. I apologize for the delay. Here is what Fred had to say about Jamie Vanderbeken's status for Wednesday. Doesn't look good....

“The x-rays were negative. The swelling has gone down some today. He’ll continue to get treatment around the clock. I don’t know what his status is for Wednesday. I’d say that it is a long shot he plays but you never know how those things will react to treatment. Right now, I’d say it is a long shot.”

If only I'd seen this thread sooner!!! I opened it just to say it would heal better if Fred got off his ankle.

Nice work! That deserves at least a coupon.

He mentioned at the beginning of the call-in show that JVB will not travel to A&M on Wed.

Don't you think that a lot of us are putting too much weight on this?

Fred's gentle touch would cure any disease or injury, let alone some small ankle injury...

He may be the mayor, but I don't think he is Jesus.

Fred's tears can cure cancer. Too bad he has never cried...
