I honestly think they will run it like this because Fred prefers the 3ball style.
    PG McGee
    SG Allen
    SG Christopherson
    SF Ejim
    PF White

    6th Babb/Booker
Some Bench Play: Godfrey, Railey, McKnight & Sledge.

    Re: Next year's BBall lineups.

I was just gonna say they will run a lot of three guards with White and Ejim as the forwards. Probably role with Allen, McGee, and Christopherson with Babb getting a good amount of time.

Allen is not a PG. He could possibly play the spot a little bit, but it would have to be against teams that don't play full court pressure defense or pressure the ball a ton. That being said,

    PG: ____________
    G: Scotty
    G: Allen
    F: White
    F: Booker

I think that the lineup will change a little bit as the PG will be up for grabs, as well as one of the Forward positions. Ejim could get a few starts as could Godfrey, especially if CG puts on a few more lbs in the offseason. But when we hit big 12 play, I think that RW and AB start at the forward spots to help us get more size.

    Re: Next year's BBall lineups.

Unless 5 players really separate themselves, I see the lineup changing based on matchups

    For-sure starters:
    McGee
    Allen
    White

Probable starters but subject to change:
    Scotty
    Ejim

    Re: Next year's BBall lineups.

Im not seeing any lineup that is a automatic NCAA type team.

I do see a lineup that could be top half of the Big 12 though.

    Re: Next year's BBall lineups.

I don't understand why some of these line-ups are missing Melvin Ejim.

Melvin will start next year. He will be better because he will actually be playing on the wing, instead of as a puny 4.

My guess is that you will see a pretty fluid line-up based on match ups.

I would guess the starters would be a combo of White, Allen, Ejim, the juco pt guard, and either Scott Babb or Booker.

The great part about next year is that there will be bench strength. You will see a lot less minutes for all of the players. Plus we may actually be able to match up physically with guys like the Morris twins.

I just hope that McKnight stays, and will be willing to redshirt. Railey will add a third big body.

We will be able to go small and quick, as well as have big guys that look and play like big guys. Fred will have to push the right buttons.

I don't have any real feeling about it yet, but at least there is hope, and that is the biggest thing that we have right now.

    Re: Next year's BBall lineups.

I think there's a real chance that Railey will Redshirt next year...big guys take longer to develop and Railey has the athleticism to be a VERY good player. But he needs polish...a chance to improve his basketball skills and continue to hone his physique. With Booker, White, Godfrey and Ejim fighting for time at the 4 and 5...its the perfect chance to give Railey a year to develop. After that, he'd have a real shot at being a 2 year starter...perhaps even a 3 year one. Obviously, any serious injuries to the front line guys next year would squelch that chance at an RS...but everyone stays reasonably healthy, we might have a real opportunity to set this kid up for success by letting him develop for an extra year. It worked out well for Paul Shirley and I think Railey could be a similar success story.
