    McDonalds All-American roster

Was realesed today, and honestly they did a horrible job. Marshall Plumlee made it despite being ranked in the 80s and not even averaging double digits. You can tell this game is really biased towards Duke, Ohio St, UNC etc. They really missed the boat on the west coast players, there were many top players snubbed. Arizona recruits seemed to get the worst of it. It was so bad that they have players from Mass and Florida on the west team lol.

    Re: McDonalds All-American roster

They do this every year. The Wear twins and Larry Drew from UNC are the worst McDonalds AA players I can remember.

Than there was that King kid that went to Duke for one year that was pretty awful

It amazes me how some families are so gifted athletically. Another Plumlee to Duke, another Zeller, another Bohannon.....

I thought Bohannon just had an 8 year career, like that Jesse Hawk.

Its so boring to see majority of the AA kids go to UNC, Kentucky, and Duke.

Yeah there is some really nice west coast talent this year and the only guy they took from the west coast is that Wiltjer kid that is going to Kentucky.

8 year? Theyre on the third one in 11 years right now. After Matt I believe there is a 2 year break before we'll see the last one on the court. From what I understand, the last one could be the best one yet.

We always hear that and it never pans out. 8 out of 10 times, the oldest in the family is the best. They might not be the most talented, but they work the hardest

    Re: McDonalds All-American roster

The Wear Twins were the worst. They were abused on the AAU circut by every big man they faced. Roy like one of the Twins but had to take both of them to get the one. Then they both made Micky D all american team just because they committed to UNC. Of course they both flamed out right away there.

Sounds like the selection committee is a joke. I cant believe they dont have scouts from rivals and scout on there.
