    Trip to Italy?

Just watched the Hoiberg show and let me mayor coach said that this off season the team will be making a trip to Italy. He mentioned it will get them ten extra practices. Anyone know any extra details? Sounds like it would be a great experience for them.

That is awesome! Freddy also said that he lays in bed at night thinking about plays he can run with next years team. But the trip will be nice since we will have the talent and this will hopefully get some good team chemistry going.

They take these kind of trips every 4 years I believe. I think it happens at the end of August. It'll be a great thing for the team moving forward. They release the box scores so it will give us fans a little preview of what's coming.

    Re: Trip to Italy?

That's great news to hear! I was hoping the team would make some kind of trip so they could gel and build more chemistry. When's the last time ISU men's team took a European trip in the off-season?

He needs to lay in bed and think about plays for this years team. I understand the lack of talent, but when you lose 6 in a row with leads in the final minutes some of that has to go on coaching.

I'm sure he thinks about that too.

Does anybody know if they play exhibitions during these trips? If it is in the North part of the country I'd be happy to show some support.

Yeah, they play exhibitions. As far as where they will be played, I have no idea.
