Hopefully he makes the transition well and is a stud. Oh yeah, and that he doesn't like assaulting people for $2 and a cell phone.

George Selvie clone (crosses fingers), even will have the same coach :)

While on live TV, Ford used a vulgar term to describe a private part of the female anatomy, adding that he was “happily married” and “got more than enough to eat at home.”

"Underrecruited"? I guess you can say that. He reminds me a lot of this guy: William Gholston - Yahoo! Sports
...and Gholston had a whole lot more exposure, playing in Detroit. The #21 player in the '10 Class, #3 DE. The size is similar, it looks to me as if the two players' base athleticism is as well. I guess we'll see.

Just for comparison's sake, however, Gholston didn't play a lot as a true frosh at MSU--though he's still expected to have a bright future. So I won't expect DI to step in, send Lattimer to the bench, and be all Big XII as a frosh.

    Will Kron redshirt this year?

“One day we’ll be in here celebrating a Big 12 championship,” Rhoads said. “That I can promise you.”

"I hope to coach here until I retire," Hoiberg said.

Wouldn't that depend on his performance in Spring and Summer drills?

What I think is so amazing is that people who have been complaining about ISU's lack of pass rush (or quality DL signees) have been paying no attention to Irving whatsoever. I think CPR struck pure gold with this one.

It's great to be Iowa State!

Or back to the LB corps. Lattimer showed last season that he will be on the field somewhere. If that's at the MLB position, I'm okay with that.

I was OK with it as long as he stole under $3. This is completely different now that I know he crossed that threshold!!!

Anyone think this guy has a build like one of the Alden twins from Mizzou?

Thats who I would compare him to. Aldon Smith of Mizzou. I think he was also a "2 star" recruit.

actuctally david irving is the defensive tackle we officially recruited..he is 6-7 and weighs 250....if coach rhoads can convince him to start summer school early, coach wally burnham can put him on the CYCLONES' official WHEATIES training table and he will weigh 350 lbs by our first game and will be the new famous CYCLONE defensive tackle WE WERE RECRUITING......
