    Anyone Else Addicted

To Amazons 100 albums for $5 each? I celebrate the first of every month when Amazon releases their new list of 100 albums. Granted they recycle a lot of the albums and use them every other month, there are also opportunities to pick up albums of some great up and comers for real cheap. This is awesome for someone like me, who enjoys engaging in some illegal downloading activities. I can own some great music for a very reasonable price. A few of my favorites this month:

    Arcade Fire: The Suburbs
    Sleigh Bells: Treats
    The Black Keys: Thickfreakness
The Roots and John Legend: Wake Up!
    Usher: Confessions

    Amazon.com MP3 Downloads: 100/$5 - 100 Albums for $5 Each

Every day they also have a new free song and a cheap album (usually 2-3 bucks).

That sucks. I just bought The Suburbs on iTunes. It was only $7.99 there, so I don't feel too bad, but still. I may have to buy Wake Up!. I've heard it's pretty solid. The 3 discs of 69 Love Songs by the Magnetic Fields are good albums, if you're into that kind of thing.

    Re: Anyone Else Addicted

What have people been using to download music of late? I haven't really been downloading music and just have been only buying the albums that I really want for the past few years, since I stopped using LimeWire. Is there something that you guys would recommend? Feel free to PM me if this isn't a discussion that can be held on a public board.

Yeah. A long time ago these type of albums sold as 33 rpm vinyl and were a quarter in the box stores.

I enjoy it, its a bit different...really not like most of Legends stuff or like any of the Roots stuff. They have a song thats only on iTunes that is solid called Wake Up. Its a cover of Arcade Fire's song.

As for those of you who are talking about illegally downloading music, that is why I started the thread. IMO, Amazon is a much more cost effective route than iTunes and must more than getting caught pirating music. I still download music, but I feel a lot better when I'm only spending $5 instead of 9 or 10 on iTunes.

Bought a new turntable 2 weeks ago. Forgot how wonderful my vinyl sounded. Haven't played a CD since. Even spent time on ebay buying more vinyl. Nirvana....

I'm sure Mr. Sheen has been granted honorary membership to many groups.

(His next membership might be to a group controlled by the Grip Reaper).

Dean Wormer was wrong. Fat, drunk and stupid was a great way to go through college (all five years of it).
