    Super Bowl Economy

Apparently Vegas isn't the only place people will be on the hunt for strippers and cocaine this week.....

Yesterday on Rome, he was saying 'they' were looking to fly in an additional 10,000 strippers this weekend, because of a huge shortage. First of all, I don't know who 'they' are (Chamber of Commerce)? Usually, when you need to fill in like that, it's for a small percent of the total. So if they are bringing in another 10,000, does that mean there are normally 100,000 strippers in Dallas on a regular basis? That would be 1000 ****** clubs with 100 dancers..... If you figure that area is what, 1600 square miles, that is nearly one club for every square mile......

Also, in not funny at all part of this whole thing, this morning they were saying on KXNO the authorities in Dallas are looking out for pimps trafficking children. I think they said they were expecting like 10,000 prostitutes to be brought in for the SB, many of them under age. Pretty sad and disgusting reflection on the whole game experience.

This was something that one po-dunk club owner was quoted as saying, and the media ran with it. The other club owners completely refute it, saying that they are ready for the people coming to DFW. They also ran a story on the local news last night saying the prostitution thing is overblown too. When the game was in Tampa a few years ago, the cops there made only 9 prostitution arrests all weekend, and Phoenix had a similar story.

Sure lucky the ice storm hit today and not Saturday as DFW closed. Sure lucky the Pack-Bears game is in the book as Chicago gets their two feet of snow.
