    Van Rental

So were heading to South Padre for spring break and looking at taking a 15 passenger van. Does anyone know of a good place in Ames to rent vehicles from?

Uh - good luck with that in Ames. In the Des Moines area when needed for local tours, etc., we work directly with the larger dealerships. I could be wrong about this, but I think most places won't rent to anyone under 25, or if they do, they $cha-ching$ charge you.

If you're a student group, you can rent one from GSB, that's about it.

U Save car rental 705 South Duff think it is also Quality motors...I have rented 15 pass vans there 3-4 times for road trips to ball games where we didn't need a 45 pass bus. always were good to me and fair priced, but then we didn't trash the vehicle or leave it smelling like a brewery either.

We have rented from a Ford dealership in Des Moines in the past (I can't remember which one. I think it was Dewey or Gabus)
