    The Jimmer

Anyone watch the BYU?SDSU game last night? Jimmer is by far my favorite player to watch this year. His range is incredible. Should be the national player of the year this year.

It's a three man race, Kemba Walker, Jared Sullinger and Jimmer. I think Kemba will fade down the stretch, if OSU goes undefeated it might be Sullinger who goes home with the award.

I'll agree with you about Sullinger if they go undefeated but I can't stand Kemba Walker. I think he's the most overrated player in the country. He has to take 20 shots a game in order to average 24 points. Horrible efficiency.

Jimmer should be POY without a doubt. He single-handedly won that game last night.

Yeah he's a volume shooter for sure. He's actually been scoring less and Uconn as a team has been playing better lately. Watching him shoot 30 shots a game as his teammates just stand around is actually what I would want to happen if I was coaching against them. When he gets all his teammates into the flow of the game too, is when Uconn is tough to beat.

Overreact much? Would you take Kemba's efficiency on our team?

Duh but we aren't competing for a national championship, are we? Like it's already been said, UConn is a much better team when he's getting his teammates involved. Not jacking up 30 shots in a game.

You called the efficiency of a national player of the year candidate horrible, and then you're the one getting snippy. Makes sense.

His efficiency isn't horrible. He was actually incredibly efficient early in the season. He has worn down a little and combined with the tougher competition night in and night out become considerably less efficient since Big East play began. He's shooting just 37.6% overall and 27% from 3 during that time. That's not very efficient.

I watched the San Diego State game and was surprised to hear that only BYU and Siena were the only 2 teams seriously looking at him out of high school. He has a great feel for the game. His shooting range is incredible and has a nice cross-over dribble. Fun guy to watch play for sure.

People said the same thing about Allen Iverson....

It's all snark from here on out
