    Cell Phone Contacts

We are switching cell carriers and I'd like to transfer my wife's contacts off her old Motorola V3c (US Cellular) to her new phone on Verizon. I can get them uploaded if I can get them off the Razr. Anyone have any cheap and easy ideas?

Check motorola's website to see if they have an app for cellphones. I've got one for my nokia and I think it will let me create a file with the contacts.

Won't Verizon just transfer them over? They did it for me when I switched from USCC to Verizon.

I'm sure they probably will. I bought it through their website so I haven't been to the store yet. Motorola does have an app for it but it's $50.

Actually I have a question too, I just broke my Razor, yes my Razor, today. Its time for a new phone, is there a way to recover my old contacts if I make the switch from US Cell to Verizon? I did the upload on US Cell's website but I doubt I could recover them without continuing with US Cell.

Do you have an old US Cellular phone that you could download them to online, then take that old phone with you when you switch to Verizon and transfer from that?

Verizon charges $10 to do it--at least a year ago they did. But if you ask the sales person helping you, you can probably get them to do it for free.

I got my phone transferred to them in March from USCC and they never mentioned anything about a charge and never charged me. If you are switching your entire service from USCC to Verizon, I doubt they are going to even try to charge you.

My phone is broke in half! I wonder if my wife can download them on her BlackBerry?
