    Good Decaf Coffee

I understand the term good is relative. But I am looking for a good decaf coffee to brew. Something better than Foldgers. And I do not care for Starbucks Coffee. I prefer dunkin Donuts but haven't seen a decaf version. Any help is appreciated.

While you are at it, find a N/A beer that suits you.

If you're around Ames, I'd suggest Bergie's coffee. I drink high-test, but my dad enjoys their decaf.

Dunkin Donuts DOES have a decaffienated coffee - it's all my dad drinks (bleh - it's too acidic/bitter for my taste, which is odd, because I like acidic and bitter). However, perhaps you can only purchase those beans at an actual Dunkin Donuts.

Dunkin' Donuts has their regular blend in decaf--actually pretty solid. I would recommend it.

    Re: Good Decaf Coffee

I'll prefrace this with the comment that I've never been into the botique coffee movement. I've always thought Starbucks was a waste of good money.

That being said, one time I was on vacation in Australia and stopped at a local plantation(I'm serious). The owner gave us a tour and explained and showed us how coffee is made. One of the things I really remember about it is that it's very critical that coffee is roasted properly or you get junk for quality. The owner commented that a lot of the big brand coffees you buy at the store do a horrible job of this because of the volumes they deal with.

With that being said, I've been buying all my coffee at Aldi's. This is the stuff I buy. I think it's about $4.00.

I think it tastes great. Not sure if they have a decaf version, but they have a larger selection of beamont type and sure you can find it.

Coffee is better with caffeine. This is America.
