    Iowa conference basketball schedule out

I normally wouldn't even mention this, but I can't believe how brutal their schedule is. I mean the Big 10 really worked them over creating this thing especially with the 18 game schedule.

Also, Big Ten Network cries are going to be loud come basketball season, almost every game is on the channel.

One last thing... I'm not much of a sports better, but I would bet that there is no way Iowa starts out better than 1-6 in the conference. Honestly I don't see a winnable game until Penn State at home which is their 8th game.

One last thing - BTN has double headers on Wednesday's, so they have a lot of 8 PM starts. That could really hurt attendance. God knows there probably won't be a whole lot of reason to go watch Iowa/Northwestern until after 10 on a weekday.

Here's to hoping they make them play Michigan State in East Lansing on the 23rd and 24th...that is a brutal schedule I must admit-even though I rip on the Big 10 every chance I get.

The MSU and Ill games will be on Saturday's, I can't hardly imagine CBS picking up the game with the kind of season I imagine them having.

The BTN (while it is a money grab) will really tick off the UofI faithful when conference BB comes around...

and playing NW after 10pm..... in IC where you park anywhere but near CHA... that if funny.

kinda wish I owned a tow truck and lived in IC. Wait... no I don't.

I can't wait for the carnage, should Mediacom and the BTN not have a deal done by basketball season. The fireworks will be too much fun to watch!

That is a tough schedule, won't be easy first year for the new staff.

C'mon now, everyone knows all Iowa fans leave Carver during the 7minute timeout of the second half if not earlier.

It's going to be a rough season for the Hawks regardless. I mean Tony Freeman (7.5 ppg) and Seth Gorney (5.5ppg) are their returning leading scorers!
