    Interesting presidential survey

I've been doing all of these that I can find. This one was interesting. My top three were:

    1. Giuliani
    2. Huckabee
    3. Romney

Huckabee is my personal front runner right now, but I have liked what I have heard from Giuliani on fiscal matters. I don't really like Romney at this point.

    Re: Interesting presidential survey

Theoretical Ideal Candidate was #1 for me. He was my favorite all along.

    Otherwise:

    1. Barack Obama
    2. Alan Aguston
    3. Dennis Kucinich
    4. Joseph Biden
    5. Hillary Clinton

I think you can figure out what part of the spectrum I fall on.

    Re: Interesting presidential survey

    Ummmm - ok

My 2, 3 and 4 were Biden, Clinton and Gore.

So I did a compare at the end between Biden and F. Thompson (probably my favorite, and came in at 21) and I have no idea what I said that led the program to it's conclusion??

Although, I will admit that very few of the questions had answers that I would consider 100% agreeable, and I didn't give an weight to any issue - so maybe that has more of an impact than I would think.

    Re: Interesting presidential survey

Who ever developed the survey some how neglected to address one's position towards income taxes. How can one neglect to ask a question about the governments largest revenue source?

Yeah, it was a fairly simple poll. I found another one that was way more involved, but you do have to sign in to see the results. If you google 2008 presidential surveys, you will find a few different ones. The second one I took was MyElectionChoices.com - Political Web Site for 2008 Presidential Election That one was fairly involved, and you can select from all sorts of issues.

    Re: Interesting presidential survey

Alright - that makes more sense, I took the other poll that was listed previously (???)

    Mike Huckabee - yynyynynnyny - 8
    Mitt Romney - yynyynynnyny - 8
    John McCain - yynyyyynnyny - 6
    Barack Obama - nyynyyynynny - 4
    Bill Richardson - nyynnyynnnny - 4
    Hillary Clinton - nyynyyynynny - 4
    Rudy Giuliani - ynnnyyyynyny - 4
    John Edwards - nyynnyynynny - 2
    Ron Paul - nynnnnnynnyy - 2
    Dennis Kucinich - nyynnynyynyn - -6

I can get behind these results a little easier. It does scare me, however, that I'm so in line with Romney. Of course, his position on 4 of the issues changed twice in the time it took to take the poll.
