I don't do signatures. Blondes, brunettes, and red heads are a different story.

    Re: Bacon Festival

That is nuts! They keep adding more and more tickets (and bigger venues) each year, but it sells out even faster as the years progress.

BTW...I've linked to this for a few days now, so any regular reader of the DesMoinesReport was already all over this and knowing they needed to get tix today. . Just sayin'. ;)

    Re: Bacon Festival

I have never heard of it but am I reading this right? It is basically a festival with all you can eat bacon? If so, count me in for next year! What is the best way to figure out when tickets go on sale for next year.

ďI told you, I donít care if youíre black or white. I donít care if youíre rich or poor. I donít care where you come from, whether itís Texas, Florida, California, or right here in the state of Iowa, I donít care about any of thatÖ But what I did care about is moving forward from that day on, that we were one team." -Paul Rhoads

Where do you live? I provided two links in my previous comment. If you live in Central Iowa, I'm not sure how you wouldn't be aware of this event given it is covered well in the weekly newspapers, the daily, and on the local news.

Had to be under 4 minutes. I refreshed my browser at 12:02 and the only tickets left were the expensive banquet ones.

Haha, well I don't consume any of those. However, I would like to consume more bacon. I will have to pay more attention next year.

I am going to school at ISU but I don't read the newspapers too often.

    Re: Bacon Festival

A thread about bacon and no one has posted a Jim Gaffigan joke. Sad.

You wanna know how good bacon is? To improve other food, they wrap it in bacon. If it weren't for bacon, we wouldn't even know what a water chestnut is. "Thank you bacon. Sincerely, Water Chestnut III."

I don't think I'm alone when I say I'd like to see more and more planets fall under the ruthless domination of our solar system.
