    Team still in Oklahoma

I'm hearing that the men's basketball team is stuck in Oklahoma. Right now, the decision is to come back to Ames (when they get the chance) or go straight to Columbia for Saturday's game withe Missouri.

Boy, that sucks. They need all the energy they can get for the MU game.

Go to Columbia. There's no point in coming all the way home and then turning right around and going back down to Columbia.

Grounded? I guess Fred takes his discipline seriously. I wonder what the punishment would have been if they hadn't at least taken them to overtime?

    Re: Team still in Oklahoma

If they're allowed to hang out in T. Boone's new digs, I'd stay down there as long as I could. Man that looks sweet.

It looks nasty in Missouri and it must not be much better in Oklahoma. I'm sure they'll wait it out until it's safe to travel and that probably means heading straight from Stillwater to Columbia.

This doesn't bode well for the weekend. OT game + no practice with the actual practice squad + 40 minutes of hell defense = rough day.

I can actually see how this motivates them to just take it out on Misery.

This could be some good team bonding and less flights. Could help.

    Re: Team still in Oklahoma

It could be that the reason they didn't head back to ames is because it snowed a few inches here. People for some reason can't understand this fluffy, slippery white stuff that falls from the sky here. They seem to think that pulling out in front of me when I'm going 40 as if it is a normal day is okay, but they also, most of them at least, won't go faster than 15mph. I've probably seen as many wrecks on the way to and from school today than I would have seen in about half of winter in Iowa.

Or the opposite. Have a lighter practice, focus on the shooting and the mental breakdowns from Wednesday, be fresh for Saturday.
