    up to $25,000 signing bonus per player, per year? Plus room, board, and tuition?

    That would add up awfully fast. What would stop teams like Texas from giving all their recruits the max signing bonus, knowing that smaller schools couldn't afford to do the same?

    The article fails because it isn't comprised solely of a picture of a smiling Cam Newton flanked by the Heismann on one side and the BCS trophy on the other.

    The most absurd argument in all of sports. Student athletes (on scholarship) do get paid, most just don't have the guidance/discipline to take advantage of it.
