    Last Win in Stillwater 3/2/1988

That's right, we have not won a game in Stillwater since that date. We won 97-88 on that particular day and are 0-15 in Stillwater since. I'd say it's high time we end that streak.

GIA is a tough place to play, but this OSU team is very beatable. It is time to end that streak.

This team is a lot less explosive offensively without James Anderson.

Moses and Pilgrim are going to be round 2 of what we saw with the Morris twins.

This is certainly a game we can win, but OSU is tough, especially at home and as I pointed out, history isn't really on our side in this one.

Time for Fred to do his best Rhoads impression.

Big game for us...if we can split at OSU and Mizzou and then come home to very winnable games with OU and Tech, we can get some serious momentum going

    Oh. My. God.

I knew Stillwater was a tough win, but no wins for us since '88? Jeebus, that was my sophomore year. Lafester, Gary Thompkins and Grayer (with a young Vic Alexander on the bench) for the win.

OSU has had terrible crowds lately. However, that sea of Orange does some crazy things to your mind.

That does blow my mind. No idea it had been that long.

I went to look up the 99-00 and 00-01 teams to see what happened and apparently the 99-00 team played at home only. Looks like someone has been on wiki busy getting some of our seasons up:

I do like how the main ISU basketball wiki starts with Orr, then Floyd and Eustachy, then has "morgan and mcdermott era" with nothing there at all for info, and then a section of info on the current staff.

Here's what I always say about streaks: Either they continue, or they don't.

That means "law of averages" won't apply, either, but notice something about Fred so far this team is a couple of possessions from being unbeaten away from home.

On the other hand, OSU (although beatable this season) is better than Creighton, UNI, Iowa and Virginia.

Nebraska might be even or even slightly better than OSU, but I consider Lincoln the easiest place to get a road win (all other things being equal) and Stillwater the hardest*

*And Boulder, too, but that seems to apply only to ISU.

We lost in OT when Tinsley was a senior. I believe that was the conference opener for us that year.

I can't believe that stat either. Who'd of thought it's been easier to win in Lawrence than Stillwater.
