    Floyd and Eustachy atop CUSA

Good to see Eustachy's Southern Miss and Floyd's UTEP are both tied 3-1 in conference at the top of CUSA after Saturday's games. Southern Miss got a good win at home over #22 Central Florida, where Michael Jordan's son is playing. Would be great to see at least one of these teams in NCAA tournament this year.

Would be interesting if we somehow made it (I know, I know) and met up with one of them

There's a very good chance one or both of those teams will be in the NIT and - dare I say it? - there's a chance we'll make it too. Can you imagine how much fun it would be to have LE or TF come to Hilton for a post-season game!!???

If you look at juco signings for 2011, LE has some serious size coming in. Would like to see him in the tourney

This does not surprise me at all...both are very good coaches!

Amazing this quality of coaches in CUSA. Fall from grace hurts the ego...not the pocket book.

I find it somewhat amusing Floyd got back into coaching so quickly after saying he was tired of it.

You know I loved both of these guys when they were at Ames, but would take Freddie over them every day of the week.

I'd rather play Creighton again and roll them up

If the NIT wanted to guarantee high attendance, thats one way to do it.

Good point, it is much more realistic to think we might meet up in NIT this year. It would be very cool to have one of them back in Hilton, and for a post-season game that really meant something we would have an awesome crowd. No doubt LE and TF would prefer to play elsewhere for a win-or-end-the-season game given their knowledge of Hilton Magic, but the ISU homecoming aspect would be great.

You know, Freddie is about the only guy out there that would make me say that. But I totally agree, Freddie has smoothed over a really bad taste after the LE saga.

I would like to see us schedule a series with either or even both programs, do a two for one or something similar.
