    Tate leaving Michigan

Michigan athletics director says QB Tate Forcier no longer with program - ESPN

Long shot, but would be nice to have him sit out a year in Ames learning the offense.

No, it wouldn't. He'd be holding a clipboard behind Jantz after that year. Good luck to him somewhere else.

    Paul Rhoads' players never quit.
    (They just disappear offseason)

    Yup here we go...

Hope him and T-Magic both come.

He was out of the bowl game for academic reasons... Convenient

    Re: Tate leaving Michigan

We should use all of our scholarships on QB's that have only a few years of eligibility.

“It’s beyond pride. It’s a restored trust. There’s a confidence again, a passion that teeters on swagger. More than anything, (Iowa State head coach Paul Rhoads) has restored the Iowa State “it” factor, the steadfast belief that it is great to be a Cyclone...the man’s enthusiasm is genuine to the core...”

    I do NOT want Tate Forcier. He's a pre-madonna.

His dad was NEVER a problem at Michigan. In fact, he was the one who talked Tate into staying.

Tate also failed out of Michigan. He didn't just decide to transfer. He will go to CC and then attemt to reapply.

Hmm IIRC someone posted the website created by his Dad highlighting the 3 boys in the family - www.qbforce.com and some fanatics also mentioned that it looked creepy.

I really want to punch myself in the face for even viewing that site. I'd heard the brothers had an ego issue and all seemed to have a sense of entitlement. And they all play QB....go figure.

    Re: Tate leaving Michigan

I know his name is Tate. However, He really really reminds me of Drew Tate. Somthing about him. HOwever, if the coaches think he could be that good I would take him. If not then no. We should however have enough guys that can throw a pass at this point.

OK, but that has nothing to do with what I said. WHile his dad may be over the top in terms of that website, he was never a problem at Michigan. Like I said, Tate was going to transfer after the UCONN game and his dad is the one who settled him down and talked him into staying. There were never problems between his dad and the Michigan coaches. That was my point.

I understand what you said and based on what you said his dad apparently has more common sense than the son. It's never good to quit the team in the middle of the season.
